Making all the many decisions that comes with getting ready for Hadley is very nerve racking in my opinion. It took us awhile to settle on the name and now the bedding has been a hard decision to make. We went back to our original one that we had picked out. My Mom and Dad are so gracious to get Hadley the perfect bedding! My mom really wanted to do this to help out and get Hadley's room all ready for her arrival. Dan, Mrs. Belinda (his mom), and my Mom will be painting the room while I am away the weekend of July 19th. It will be a soft brown color and one wall is wood so we will not be painting over it. My mom is going to paint an old chest of drawers for us to match the crib and changing table that we bought. The crib arrived today so we will be spending this weekend putting that together. We ordered a chair and ottoman from a local store and it should be here by the time that the bedding and curtains are completed! Dan's Aunt Sybil will be painting us some bunny pictures on canvases and we will be decorating with little soft bunnies! I can hardly wait to get it all in and looking just perfect!
Also, please continue to remember our new little cousin Kayden Alyssa Collins. They now have a carepage set up and you can visit it at this link but you will need to sign up to view her photos and updates. http://www.carepages.com/ServeCarePage?cpn=KaydenAlyssaCollins&seed=30854&ClusterNodeID=jb03&tlcx1=mcghealth&tlcx2=2762539
She is doing a lot better and they are finally getting a chance to hold their bundle of joy! We are still praying that her brain bleed (a level 3) will absorb on its own and that there will only be the need for one more surgery (one on her stomach). Please pray for Nathan and Whitney as well and the rest of the family as we all are doing our best to support them through this difficult time. She is gaining weight and her lungs and heart are looking great so we just pray that each day she continue to get stronger and bigger! Thanks!
